- The Circulator Reflexology Mat
Reflexology is a focused pressure technique, usually directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on different parts of the body which correspond to and are relative to all parts, glands and organs. When these reflexes are stimulated, the body's natural electrical energy works along the nervous system to clear any blockages in the corresponding zones. It allows imbalances to be released through a physiological change in the body. With stress removed and circulation improved, the body is allowed to return to a state of homeostasis.
The Reflexology session usually takes between 40-60 minutes and consists of:
- Examination & Cleansing (examining and cleaning the feet and taking notes for the session)
- Therapy (working on particular reflexes one by one, organ by organ, in order to restore the balance)
- Relaxation (calming down the feet)
During the session, firm pressure is applied to particular reflex areas using specific thumb and finger techniques.
Yes you can, unless it's a pregnancy with high risk. Foot reflexology will ease the muscle tension painful joins and pelvic area. It will also improve blood circulation and help to eliminate digestive problems.
Absolutely! Children and even babies are the most receptive patients as they are naturally relaxed and supple.
The number of sessions vary according to each client and their condition. Some people prefer a session once every 2-3 weeks, others respond better to more frequent treatments.

I had the pleasure of meeting the distributor of these mats and experiencing the mat first-hand myself.
I find a one-to-one reflexology session with a Certified Reflexologist to be invaluable. That said however, if you are not able to get to a reflexologist regularly or maybe you just want an at home reflexology experience whenever you choose, these mats are amazing!
